Portland Roadster Show 2013...who's going?

With the Portland Roadster Show about a month away, thought I would get a thread started.

I will be there with the T (fresh back from the salt) for sure.



Who else is going this year?

 

Almost certain H.A.M.B.er Jade Idol will be bring his amazing Woodward Roadster down to Portland for the show.

Where takin a '34 Pickup to put in a booth.

 

I will look forward to seeing the Woodward and "The Emperors"

 

I haven't been there in a long time. I'm going to try to make it.

 

I will be volunteering this year with the drivin dead c.c. .

 

I'll be there camera in hand as usual. Most likely on Saturday.

 

Clayton, will you have the "new" intake done in time?

 

I should be there Saturday too. Don't go through the show without stopping by and saying "hi"

I would like to, but don't know if I will have time to get it done as tested by then. My goal is to have it done by the Flathead Run in September...I will NEED it then.

Right now I have a few other "fish to fry"....like an exhaust leak and a saggy rear spring pack.

 

I think a couple other Emperors may take cars down, too

 

Good choice, Clayton... nobody wants to smell your stink or see your saggy butt

I plan to go! Someday maybe even have a car in it, but that will take a few years and a few more dollars.

Willys gasser done to a point that it can attend.

The Salem Roadster show is Feb.9th & 10th at the Aircraft Center - Oregon State Fairgrounds.

Pretty good show this year, better than in the past back at the Convention Center IMHO

 

Clayton. Good to see your car there! I had missed this thread and didnt know you were going to show. But I spotted your ride from across the room. Very nice. There were a couple of ogglers when I was by. I tried to point out to my bro what you'd done, but you did such a dam good job of making it look authentic I had a hard time at first.

 

I agree, it was much better this year. I saw Barris there, and Cody brought His Dads Road Agent. That was cool to see in person.

 

Lol! Thank you kindly my friend! I did get heckled a bit for the electric fan though. Once I told them it was a "battle scar" they were okay with it. I have to built a new period looking shrowd for it so it blends in.
