Who's the manufacturer of that hitch? I can't make it out... but I CAN tell you I want all the info I can get so I can scour the internet for one!

MANUFACTURED BY HUSKY HITCH MONROVIA CALIFORNIA.
IT WAS ADVERTISED IN POPULAR SCIENCE MAGAZINE IN OCTOBER 1950, AT THE BOTTOM OF PAGE 109.

    http://books.google.com/books?id=7i...&q=popular science October 1950 hitch&f=false

THE HEAVY CHROME COVER SCREWS INTO THE CUSTOM 2 INCH ATWOOD BALL WITH A 1 INCH BOLT.
THE MOUNT IS MADE FOR A 3 BY 1 1/4 INCH "RAILROAD STYLE" COUPLING.
THE CHROME COVER IS9 INCHES TALL BY 3 1/2 INCHES WIDE.

I bought a '57 Firedome coupe from a guy on the Hamb several years ago. The floor was so rusty that we didn't have to unbolt the front seat - just lifted it up and heaved it out.

Anyways, we found these in the trunk. I tried to raise them, but unfortunately they didn't last long without their momma.

I used to own a 1950 Hudson Pacemaker two door, with the mile long rearfenders. This car was low milage and had never had any body panels removed before I started on it. When I removed the left rear fender, witch was only slightly "dust rusted" underneath, I found a 1/2 " wrench in the bottom "wedge"
Also on a 51 Buick I once had, the original owner slip from November 1950, i think, together with some recieps for oil and filter was tucked under the seat fabrics on the drivers side.

    Hi all,

While cruising in a mates restored / rodded ’53 Chevy sedan, we were in one of the largest towns (city?) in our area, it was new year’s eve, about 11pm, in the late 80’s, my mate and I got flagged down for a lift, by 2 of the prettiest little senior high school girls we had ever seen, they wanted a ride home and maybe some fun, they got both, for several months, much to their parents disgust.

Drive in movies and late night park ups were killer.
She was the best find by me ever in the back seat of any car, wish for those days again? I Still know where she lives and have photos.

After a long night of fooling around in the backseat of my Delmont 88, I had to retrieve a bra from under the seat. I found several knives, bottle caps and assorted trash junk. Then of course the bra as well.

So far, I'm the coolest thing I've found in an old car but I'm guessing a suitcase full of $100 dollar bills would be a close second! :D

In the mid 80s my brother bought a 61 LeSabre from an impound yard. The float stuck open causing an engine fire, and the owner never came to pick the car after the fire department showed up. Upon opening the trunk, my brother found hundreds of high-heeled shoes and some porn magazines. Apparently the owner was into something strange.
