Here's the deal. Since it is probably cold as hell and there's snow on the ground, I'll pay the property tax and come get that dirty ole Ford.
I'm sure it would look Purdy sittin in the Florida sun. And I think the word STUD is cool. Better than STUD MUFFIN!:D

Gotta love the 60's, everything was over the top. I don't think I could live with that paint for too long but looks like a good solid start.

I'm usually not to crazy about the old lace and panel paint jobs, but this one is really cool. Drag that thing out clean it up and drive it.

    '57 convertible to boot.... :D

    WAY cool.

Awesome. It looks like a Hot Wheels car with that paint.
First thing I'd do is visit the local bar and start asking around about that car. I'm sure all the locals know about it. It's bound to have history.

I'd preserve what's there. Only exception, I'd look for another set of those steel slots, used, but not with quite so much "patina", and enjoy that piece of history.

I'm not only in awe of your barn find :D, but the low taxes also

  22. I agree! no way I would paint that car, it would have to stay like that!
I cant believe nobody knows this car, somebody here has to have seen this car in its heyday, its surely not one to get confused with another. I'm waiting for that story to pop up!

Not true. You can title through BMV. I've done several. Not a problem in this case though.
