Thanks, it was on the Power Tour in '07 I think. A fellow HAMB'r that we hooked up with in Minnesota, thought it was a cool pic opportunity.

 

Break-in run with my buddy from Ill. 1600 mi. one week lap of California .

Here's my favorite, so far. It's a shot of my latest project, converting my Hilborn injection to electronic. I'm using a Megasquirt Controller. Got it running, but still tuning. Is it EVER FINISHED?????

Here's my '34 PU, not traditional but I built it as a challenge.. I never chopped a car before

 

...right after installing Exhaust system: Ford "Shorty" Headers and Hooker Aero Chamber ss muflers.

 

These 2 pics are of my Uncle Jim Nairn's home built Rod taken in the 1940's. My Dad and Uncle were among the original L.A. hot rod boys back in the 1930's and 40's and had a 65 year history with racing from the streets to the dry lakes to Indy to the drag strips.

 

I know...this is NOT a hot rod, but it was mine and it was fast. It was so hot that it melted the film as I was doing a burnout......

I do believe this is the car that inspired me to build my modified! Saw it in a calendar and left it there for years. is got a mopar tube axle out front if its he one. Indian blanket seat!

 

Lots of favorites, but my grandsons pick this one of the car they love to go cruising in.
Picture was taken at least 20 years ago. A friend did a little of his magic adding Mickey and Minnie. Copies ended up everywhere. Even had it as a screen saver and our Christmas card one year.
