thanks everyone! i wasnt sure if it was a bit much for the car but i think the scallops work well with all the fins and sharp lines of the car. when i started spraying the kandy with the lace removed i realized how similar it looks to Kirk's car him and Alex did. thanks again! we should be wet sanding and buffing on saturday.
Man this is coming along nice. I am a little torn on the roof. It looks great but for me it might be a little over the top or too dark or something for the feel of the rest of the car.
here is a small update... a couple days ago me and my pal Leo resprayed the hood and trunk with base and pearl. it was a bit stripey when i first did it and it was bugging us! the roof also got a little more kandy, owner didnt care too much for the white scallops, said it made the roof look like a big M so we covered it some and also faded the edge of the panel and recleared. then today we got the car completely wet sanded and buffed. i am very very happy with the overall look. the pearl is nice in person and the car is straight for being what it is. assembly will commence soon.

Are you going to do anymore panels? I think it looks odd with just the roof done. Needs some dark blue down lower to balance it out. Otherwise beautiful build! Ryland

Ryland i actually experimented a bit with a dark fade at the very bottom of the body, maybe i had the wrong color but i didnt like it much. honestly i would almost prefer the car with a clean white roof rather than flaked and patterned. but the customer wanted some flash or bling or whatever so we did something. i think it looks much cleaner in this pic below if you never knew the top was done. but hey its tough to make everybody happy. he loves it. thanks!
Yes it is looking very nice! makes me want to chop my 4dr hard-top! anyone need complete pink interior!
