Death Sprint In Terror Canyon

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Ryan, Jan 31, 2013.

  1. Hey Ryan, who would I need to talk to about playing this at the theater? Maybe a cruise in/car show type of thing.

I know where that road is were they raced at, its now been developed into a subdivision, sometimes late at night you can hear the tires screeching and a man in a firesuit holding a steering wheel walking down the road.

It made Mom happy and none the wiser! :)

If I didn't say it enough before, I loved this video. Production qualities remind me of the Flash Gordon serial at the double header Sat afternoon movies. Strings and sparklers and we loved it! Someone has a lot of talent!

Peggy Lipton (on hiatus fromThe Mod Squad) had a cameo, but it wound up on the cutting-room floor. In it she was stranded by the roadside and the '55 Chevy splashed her with toxic waste...

...which made her grow into the 50-Foot Woman...

But the director decided the movie was running too long so her scene was cut.:D

Ben, one of the guys behind it said you're welcome to play it.
Just download the file from Vimeo - it's a creative commons license too so all good.

You're welcome to PM me if you'd like his contact details, but he's good with it.

    Loved it.
My brother, me and our friends used to build models and crash them. Whoever had the model that held up the best won the other guys car. Liked the idea with the string. Wish we had thought of that one.

  17. Glad this wasn't a ninety minute movie, my sides couldn't take the laughter.

Brings back so many memories of wrecking perfectly good model kits. One of the best one we did was a estes rocket engine in the Monkey Mobile. We never sniffed the glue ,but it sure did burn good!!!

Re-assemble the wrecks, and let's see some match races with Gumby & his T-bucket.
