    Cool Ride!
The Body looks like a "half rear door Phaeton" body...(Hmmm, Where's my Saw'sall)
I'll keep checking in & good luck with the Ice Racing! (Send Pictures!!)

    Ha de Tommy

  13. The rear of the body is a 1923 model T Paethon :) just cut it of today to make work on the cowl easy and also since i have to build a flor an dors for the body it was the best :) ill take pictures whenever i can :)

Today we cut the cowl of and desided to build everything behind the cowl new! saving the model T part for another projekt :)

  15. Following this thread with great interest. 17 year old Norwegian lad building a pre-WWII style American hot rod is unusual, even on the HAMB. Looking forward to seeing the body you are going to build. Good luck.

  16. Thx! :) im looking forwards to the rest of the build :) first we have to repair te cowl :)

The blue A bucket actually started as a sedan! George Ryan of Auburndale, Mass. built it. He took 18 inches out of the rear quarters and adapted the back to the front. The result was an 80 lb. bucket. It originally mint green and was at the Autorama on the Hynes Autotorium in Boston in the 60's.Photo and story was featured in the "Letters to the Editor" section of the Nov. 1964 issue of Hot Rod magazine which had Don Prudhomme's silver dragster on the cover.

here it is the Blue A bucket from this thread when it was mint green and when it had a 483" Hemi with cross ram carbs. If you need a bigger picture of it, type in the search box, " George Ryan , Auburndale, Mass." There should be an interesting stories on that page to.

I wish that i had your ambition! Nice start.
I made my body from doors, on the side. It is a door and about a half in length. The back was the roof from a chevy pickup, with model a sedan roof pieces for the corners, so they would be rounded a bit, and not chopped off flat.
    Good Luck!

  24. So do i! :) so the Flathead is fore sale :)

  25. Is't a cool ride! :) but I would put a Flathead in it! :D

  26. Hehe, thx! :D just love the car :) the body will be built from scratch i belive :) only keeping the Model A Cowl :)
