I was outbid on ebay. I really want one. The ebay ad provides no information as to it's origin. I thought maybe someone here may have seen something like it. Looks like it's modeled after a vintage kerosene style tail light. It's certainly old. Tried doing a google image search with the image and just got a lot of fingernails and porn.
Don't know what it's from...but it's pretty darn fancy...having a chandelier in the lens and everything!!
It will fit a car from the teens. Not sure which make. They usually match the headlamps, somewhat, except in size. Here are examples of how it mounts. These examples are from a 1913 and 1914 Cartercar.
