Congrats on having the vision and perseverance to see this project through! Man did it ever come out nice. I was even a bit skeptical at first cause I liked the car so much before. Great choices all the way around. Woulndnt change a thing

  7. A HUGE congrats to you on your award! I'm from the High Desert as well, and I've been covertly following this build because you know a lot of the same guys I know but our paths have never crossed.

This car was built in his driveway, folks. Yeah, we live in So Cal, but the weather here in the High Desert goes from freezin' cold to nuclear hot, with 40mph winds all year 'round. You earned that award, dude.

I remember Brad King telling me that you and Vince were busting ass on your rides to make it to a show (Viva, I think) last year, but gave up because your cars weren't ready. That was a blessing in disguise because it gave you the time to do it right and not rush it. Your car would not have turned out anywhere as nice if you had rushed it back then.

The car looked great in the Suede Palace, but I really want to see it out and about in town. Cruise nights are starting up soon, hope to see you there!

Very Nice! Love the chop, great stance, and the beltline moulding is sure classy.

Beautiful, clean custom. Very pure in detail. I think the Pontiac belt molding adds just a little spice.

    Chris,

Your car is simply breathtaking! Seriously. It was about a minute after I opened your thread and I was looking at your pictures that I realized that I forgotten to breathe.

    Well done!

You are a role model to us Home builders. It doesn't matter how many years it took, YOU Stuck with it and got to where you are now. YOU DID IT !!

Many have started projects like this, but lost interest and either sold off or just lost the project in full...

Congrats on the Accolades from the show and your peers here on the HAMB.. Well deserving !!

You, Vince, and the whole club have got it right !!
Sucks you guys live so far away from me though... ha !

thanks Jay..trust me..i was way skeptical too with the whole chop thing.. it took years of pics and research to convince myself i could get it done the way i pictured in my mind..and it turned out pretty damn close :D
hey thanks for the support buddy, you know how it is out here.. not the most friendly outdoor building conditions! Now that this show is over..guaranteed you will see it out and about.. this car gets driven...as ALL of them should :D come by and say hi when you see me, CJ.
