1952 Chevy Progress Pics

    Took advantage of some good weather. I was able to mount my spring hoods, re-fab alternator bracket, as well as install lakes pipes.

    What do you think so far...

    I still have new chrome bumpers to install, as well as the fender skirts.

    Looks very cool ! Looks just as good without skirts too...once the bumpers are on it should be awesome !

    Lakes pipes are not really molded in. I took 3/4 wide flat stock and welded studs to the backside. I drilled holes in the cars factors leading edge just underneath the rocker panel. I then got 2" exhaust tubing bent 90 degrees. I welded the exhaust tube to the flat stock. Once mounted I cut the 90 degree off the lakes piped and slipped it inside the exhaust tubing. I used a stock lakes pipes mounting bracket just towards the rear of the pipe.....
