This one didn't go well at the Ford Barn. I am not asking about Elgin cams as that is not the same Elgin Co from Elgin,IL. Hoping for feedback from anyone who has used their parts in a flatty. I ask because some of their stuff is reasonably priced (particularly valvetrain parts), and they are US based.

TTT for the night shift, Elgin has been around forever. Sounds like they need to do some advertising if this crowd is unaware of their product.

People doing engine building for a living are well informed about Elgin!

They've been around for years heavily into mfg but lately they've joined with the "off-shore" vendors importing much of their inventory!

    Thanks, Gary in N.Y.

P.S. Can't say much about their recent products, we use none of their components at all.

That doesn't surprise me based on their current valvetrain pricing. It's very affordable.
