What center caps are you guys running with your Plymouth artillery wheels? Or Studebaker steelies, the ones that resemble the 40 ford wheels? I tried a set of baby moons that i got from u.s. wheel, they are the right cap size but the way they attach is way different. I tried putting the flanges in the Shriner to get them close but no luck. I sure someone has found something that fits , other than the stock caps. So school me guys let me know what your using or how you modified yours to fit. Thanks ,Ryan
The Wheelsmith in California has hubcap adapters available, but I would assume they would have to be welded to the wheels. They would make it possible to use early Ford caps.
That's an interesting concept. I will have to look into that. Since the wheels are on a ford I'm not really concerned about welding them to the wheels.
Anybody else know anything about this? Either plain baby moons or a trick that you used to get your caps to fit?
ID Artillery Wheels If I remember right there is info on caps in this thread, it will require some searching though. If anyone would know what works it's the member who started this thread.
those look like Ford Artillery wheels though. I'm looking for caps that fit Plymouth Artillery wheels or a way to adapt them. Nice truck by the way...
so you want a plain cap we assume - without the mopar logo....do you have a pic of your wheel as well....
You can bend the clips inward slightly and a baby moon designed for a chevy rally wheel will go right on.
