Howdy ladies and gents, getting ready to take delivery of a '55 F-250 loaded with an early 90's 302 Windsor. Been lurking around the HAMB a little here and there, thought I'd pop in for a formal intro. Will update with pics as soon as she gets here
Not sure that link is gonna work, but worth a try? I'll try to get some better pics once this crummy weather clears up. Does anyone have online resources for original specs, parts, etc. for these old second gen. F2's? The drum brakes are SUPER stiff and requires a whole lot of exertion to get any stopping power out of them, that will probably be the first thing I look into upgrading. Any ideas what I can do to get the most out of these old drums?
hello from Dallas as well, Coyote. gimme a holler if you need some help (pretty newb to to restoring myself, but i'm an expert with beer, extension cords and trash bags).
welcome, those trucks are fun. Its strange but everyone thinks our 56 is a 55, when I was young we had a f300 like yours but it was punkin orange. with a black flat bed. I loved that truck. have fun with yours
Welcome from MD! What kinda bike you got there...I have a '72 Kawasaki G3SS, so I'm guessing yours is from around the same era?
Man, somehow I forgot to check back into this thread. Figured it was more as a matter of course than anything. Thanks for the warm welcome! RatRacer, it's a '78 CB750K, the last of Honda's greatest. Kalthans - I've got plenty of cords, you bring the beer!
