Your A is one of the most unique As I know of. Love this car. What will you be doing with the blower engine now that it's not in your A?

    Thanks for the nice words...

The Blower Motor will go into my Coupe.

I plan to build it as a unibody car as well, like the '28.

Wow, that car looks good with that hood on it. It's gone from an interesting hot rod to one with it's own special character that raises the bar a bit.

The blower motor will look a whole lot better in the coupe too.

Looks great! I have to admit though, the blower was one of my favorite things about your car though....

And a Fiat 600! You had to make that too. The rest rusted out years ago!

    Nice work!

    Yeah, I'll miss the performance.

And the blower is a really cool piece.

But I got tired of messing with the fuel pressure menagement,
the carb flooding and starving at different times, and the poor hot starting.

I'm going to use the engine again, but I want to be able to take the time to do it right...

    A 1000cc Abarth engine.

( pushrod, not the ultra expensive TCR...)

That is the car I did most of my racing with.

Yes, at some point it will get paint and upholstery.

(when I can afford to spend the time and the money...)

Thanks for all the nice words, guys...

  16. Great work - I'm making a hood for my Modified soon so it's nice to know that the bending was done with such simple tools.

Do you have a thread showing how the roof was done?

I usually don't like louvers in the hood, but those are so nice. If I send you some hood sides.... ? Gary

It looks as though the cowl is lengthened on that car.

Knocked me out with that build. The graduated louvers are beyond cool. Really puts a great look on the car. Fantastic skill bro!! ~sololobo~

Looking good! How are you going to match up the patina?
    or
I'm picturing it painted in a single stage dark red/maroon.

I'm going to paint it, but not any time soon.

I'm thinking a very dark green or very dark gray ( almost black )

For now I'll just shine up the body again like I did a couple of years ago.
