What shocks are you guys running up front? I'm running a 4 inch drop axle, reverse eye spring, hair pins, and the batwings have a provision for tube shocks on the bottom, but with as low as it is not much room at the top, so I ask those who come before me, what shock did you use and what kind, brand, style, upper mount are you using. Thanks Ryan

Bought welder series upper mounts and I am runing a gas shock that I got out of a shock book after measuring the full extend length and full compression length...didnt want the shock to be the travel limit, it really shortens thier life, or they get bent to shit

I used the shorty shocks as well. Came in the TCI shock kit.

  10. Like the others have mentioned, shorty shocks. I believe the previous owner of my A had So-Cal chrome shorty's installed.

Check speedway. Also a good parts store can help you if you have your mount to mount neasurement. Maybe cheaper than some of the other options especially if you don't have to have chrome. Good luck.

I have a set of friction shocks on there now, they look great, and the way they are mounted is killer, I'm just wondering how well they preform. I have yet to drive it with them, so I am doing future planning it guess. Lol
