1930 model A rumbleseat lid to trunk lid conversion?

    i searched and it's probably simple enough, but what's the best way to create a normal trunk lid from a rumble seat lid? hinge and body modifications mostly.
     
  2. Look for someone that wants to swap. People are always trying to go from trunk to rumble (I did and wished I hadn't wasted the time).

    You can get reproduction stock hinges from Syders (http://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/modelaparts) and then its just a matter of drilling holes. Be forewarned, stock hinges are a common cause of chipped paint on deck lids. Theres also a few companies out there that make aftermarket hinges that work really nicely and fix the chipped paint dilemma. Both methods will require the inner latch plate and drain panel which is also available from Snyders.
