Thanks everyone! It's a shame that shitty storm killed our buzz. Seems to have gained Some more excitement lately though. I've wanted to run that beach every day since. I just came from the local college where I just saw tons of film. Cool stuff! We did get permission for next year a day ago. Start building some bangers and V8's. it's going to be a battle just to see which 20 cars will get to run.

Couple pics from yesterday. We got a chance to run on the beach in Allenhurst again. I didn't get any pics as I was running my bike. We did run cars but I was busy and had forgot to take some pics. What a blast!

 

I think I'll be starting a new thread soon. We will be running the 2nd Annual Race O Gents in October in Allenhurst. But... We think we will also qualify cars and bikes this Spring, in Asbury Park for the 2nd Annual in October. The beach in Allenhurst is not able to provide adequate facilities due to the bathrooms and beach clubs being destroyed during Sandy. So, Asbury in the spring, and Allenhurst in October.

Well the news broke on the interwebs so I can't contain my excitement! MEL STULTZ SIGNS TV DEAL, TO FILM PILOT
Mel Stultz knows how to make shit happen. He’s been doing it for years. He re-imagined Asbury Lanes from old bowling alley to internationally recognized rock n’ roll venue. He did it again this past Fall with The Race of Gentlemen vintage motorcycle and hot rod beach race in Allenhurst, NJ which just landed on the cover of Hot Rod Magazine. And he just signed a deal with Beyond Productions, the producers of the popular Discovery Channel series Mythbusters, to do a pilot that will be shopped to networks like Discovery and History Channel.
