Donor roof for 32 Ford 5 window

Is the a roof that I have a chance of finding to use to fill my roof? Not sure how many real old roof I can find locally. OR should I buy a aftermarket piece?

Are you planning on filling the top or padding it once you have filled it? HRP

 

I think filling it Dan. I've seen one done with aircraft fasteners. maybe??

I've seen early Mustang roofs used. HRP

 

I just had Bobby Walden do a top for my 29 Dodge, worth every penny

 

3 options 1 make one yourself. 2 pay someone to make one, 3 make templates of roof contour and go to junkyard.

 

I've used a Corvair coupe top in years past but they're a little hard to find. Recently I've used a insert from Walden on my 3 window and delivery and they were worth the money.

 

You know I didn't even think about Walden,,good product. HRP

 

as HRP stated 65 -66 Mustang coupe roofs fit very well .

 

Ive used Maverick or Comet turned sideways, and they woork very well. I have one now out of a 84 85 chrysler labaron that looks like it will work as well as the Mavericks.

 

For my 5 window we used a 64 falcon roof skin worked perfect.

Ive used a 1970 duster roof and Im using a 1970 valant roof on the one Im building now.
