what sucks is Barris did not build this car. he contracted it to I think it was Dean as I recall.

i dont rember those funny looking flares on the original???

 

I watched the Batman show today and it had those flares.

 

you are right,,,i should have said that the flares look bigger now than they were,,, maybe its just me...

(nice tastefull 60's flares everyone rembers)

but i guess, i am just skeptical that this is thee original bat mobile?, but i am sure they never made more than one...

 

The original one built from the Lincoln Futura yes.

 

Hmmm......the TV one had twin drag chutes in the back for the "Bat turn"......and what was with all those cheesy labels everywhere like .."Bat Ray" on the headlights and 'OIL SLICK' on the back...?
