This is being advertised widely in my area- anyone have any experience going to it- is it worth going to or not? Thanks- Jim
Lots of imported stuff use them once throw them away tools new die cast items lots of cleaning stuff but not much in the way of good old car parts.
its a good walk maybe a treasure or two ,and ron finch is at the bike show this year to bad i have to work
Yup, it does. It's a fun day out with the guys but not much in the way of old car parts. The best part of our trip is stopping at Hooters after for a beer.
Used to go all the time but it got to be too much racing equipment, too much antiquey crap , and too little "swap meet" parts.....
Let me put it this way - i can literally throw a stone and hit the big-e property from my house and i wont go - waste of time - years ago it was a great social event in the middle of the winter - i used to vend there and did ok - toward the end, i remember ben dodge (the promoter) telling us to spread our parts out to cover the unused/unsold spots so the people paying $10 to get in would think it was full.......after that the "chinese invasion" came in
Went last year; there is hardly ever anything worth the money to get in. It's like a big tag sale of junk. With that being said; we're going just to spend the day out of the cold.
Fifteen or twenty years ago, I used to make several trips out to the truck with good finds. Today, I'd consider it a waste of time and gasoline to bother with.
waste of time but ill be there , cold here and not ez to get into garage in this temp.it is a lot of trash but you may find somthing and get a good deal
I am heading there soon.... Knowing that in three hours I will be upset that I paid $15 to get in the door.
how was it i want to go but its over an hour away and i feel the same about the usual dissapointment. im working on an a on a 32 frame should i wast my morning driving up their?
My expectations were so low that it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be I actually bought some original early ford parts Seems like it is moving in the right direction
