Didn't see a thread on this! What part or car have you searched for all your life and still couldn't find ? Mine is a 1963 pontiac 421 block 544988 stamp code 22b! Even if I found it I probly couldn't afford it!

  2. It's not a matter of searching for it, just coming up with the bread for it is the tough part.

My grandma's 36 five window. I know where it is, I see it all the time. My buddy owns it. It is not for sale. I think I'm wearing him down, though.

I've always wanted a 6x2 for a big block Mopar. When I've found them the finances aren't right, or they just want plain too much. I missed an auction on eBay for one that ended with no bidders and no reserve for $300. He relisted it and it got bids and went north of $500. Wish I would have been paying attention.

  12. I looked for "Ranch Wagon" script for the wagon for many years,,I couldn't even find them on the internet,,finally found a set in a junk yard less than 30 miles from my home.

Spent stupid money having them replated,,ended up breaking one and sinking even more money in having it repaired and replated. HRP

I spent close to 20 years searching for a buildable, original maroon 63 impala with a black bench seat interior and a 327 4 speed because my dad bought one new.
Found a couple over the years but was late on both.
I could have cloned it easily, but i wanted one that came that paint/trim combo or it wasn't good enough.
2 years ago on here, there was an impala thread and in it was a photo of one..LONG story short, i talked to the owner, and bought it.
It's not a 4 speed though, but it is a factory 409 car with ALL it's original parts, including the 409, factory maroon with black bench int.
My whole plan was to restore it and give it to my dad....now i can.
THAT car has been the "one" i've always looked for.

a '59 Caddy is my dream car.

PLUS an UN-CHOPPED, full fendered, flathead "Jalopy" sedan or coupe.

That's what I'm trying to find now.

I want my T bucket back, its in the Red Deer Alberta area somewhere, or I'd at least like to know who owns it. Damn good car, still regret selling it fifteen years later.

That's me also. Every time I find one I want, I can't afford it, and every time I have the funds, I can't find one I want.

Always wanted a big Dohc Indy Offy type engine. Some day i will get one. Some of my friends have destroyed my regular wishes and burnt the dohc sound and feel into my spine. Only right thing to do is to find one, and twist some frames.

I searched for years for the matching glass lens for a 49 Ford interior light. Found it at an old speed shop for two bucks. Sold my pair of lenses for several hundred dollars...should have kept them.
