Hey jerry do you have an original barris crest badge on the fender or a repro? I have an original,the small connectors on the back were cut,it came from kurt McCormick

Hopefully going lower this year.

 

Got mine a few years ago and still plugging away on it. Seems to me shoeboxes are the most popular build for the money these days.

Here's a 49 I am doing alot of work on. Just finished building the motor, trans and rear end. Next is rewiring the car and vintage air unit. Redoing the air ride system and exhaust system.

I just don't get it - guy at the gas station asked if it was a '50 Studebaker?!
This is all old school, 6v, 8BA w/OD, T&R interior, all accessories are originals time pieces, even the tires are real Firestones - not Cokers.

 

The crests are reproductions, but I like the idea.

Yea I know but I cant afford WWWs. And the modern raidials make it ride like a Caddy.
90s built and still not a speck of rust.

My '49 "Tinker Toy". 3" chop. 302sbf, C4, 9" Ford rearend. No idea when or where it was built.

 

Thats only 3"? Ive got a 5-6" chop and it sits about like yours.

 

Damn dude nice ride.

 

That wad built by old man Sam from Lake Elsinore within the past 4-5 years...definitely not in the late '50s!

 

I'm joining some really nice iron....but here comes another shoebox: my son and I sectioned a running, driving '50 club coupe this fall...(in 8 days!!) Pics tell the story.

Soon, I will get it back together again and back on the road.
