Very nice! Looks like a deep channel, one might be really curled up driving it with a chop added.

Would look great with some big ol truck tires on the rear and a draft beer handle for a shifter. :) Oh..and skull air cleaner.

Don't forget the spiderwebs, dump that stupid original grille and find a fat-ass tractor piece, put some Corvair buckets in it and a chromed chain steering wheel too.

Re-read the whole thread, the original builder's dad has it now. the builder posted a current pic too... a hell of alot better looking now.

  13. Hahaaa. You guys are funny!

I get these fellows that show up from time to time. I try to steer them in the right direction, but it is sometimes like have a bad steering box, they have minds of their own! This car still has fiero seats in it. Hahaaa. But it does look clean now. The plan was for a early 60s panel job with just a simple fat whit pinstripe around its bodies details. Simple! Maybe a flame line too. Very simple, very car model like. My pal Tuki and I have discussed this, he gets what I'm talking about. Car flies. I talked to pops too, he does want to sell it. He has the roadster bug again. He can't get over that I sold my old 29 roadster still. I've been on the hunt for a nice old paint body as I have a nice 32 platform waiting in the wings.

He also has a nice sedan he's going to let loose. He got the bug for roadsters, and I get the feeling!

  14. So I'm thinking the plan is to sell both and build a 28/29 roadster on 32 rails for pops. I like 40's, he likes the 50's. But I'm in charge, hahaaa.

Fixing the stance would have made a 150% improvement on it.

Cash buys the car. When I list something, I do not hold it for someone who may or may not show up. If you want it, you come and look at it/buy it. If you come and give a deposit, we will agree on a pick up date. If that day comes and I still have the car, I will relist it for sale unless we both agree on something else.

Hey Six Pack To Go, looks like opportunity is knocking. Don't let that cool little 34 slip away again. Already looks cool and has tons of potential if you want to keep going with the build.

Yup!! The first with the cash gets the title. I stopped holding/waiting for guys to show up and in the meantime loosing out on a quick sale. This hobby/obsession is supposed to be fun and profitable for a chosen few who like to bust their ass and make a few bucks. You'll never get rich but you can minimize the heartache by establishing a few firm fast rules and sticking to them.

Doesn't look like a R Rod it looks like a channeled hot rod to me. Mine was like that when I got it in the early 70s it was an old 1/4 miler.
