  2. There's a bunch... I'll find those threads posted here with more traditional cars and some music from actual HAMB members... such as anything from the "Mad Fabricators" videos!

But here's a couple I've dug up on the tube!

    Surfers...

    <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/rBMM1oOfR30&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/rBMM1oOfR30&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

    <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Gd4Aj4tbf50&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Gd4Aj4tbf50&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

This one has the music to my ears... mostly just engine sounds!

I love Ry Cooder, a very talented musician, and with a nice little album titled "I, Flathead" how could that not be right for the HAMB.

Below is a sentimental tune from it I like:

  8. With the age differences here we all love the traditional cars but when it comes to music the taste in music is wide and varied.

I'm a child of the 60's and spending several years playing in a band and we were required to play country, soul, rock, blues so I lean towards that type of music.

Gimme Willie Nelson,Sam & Dave,Marshall Tucker or B.B.King,,I love to old stuff, then again ,I'm a old fart! HRP

Here's a video with a 50's high school theme, "LOVER'S LEAP" by Reno Divorce.

The guys originally wanted to use a '59 Chevy, but had to settle for the Caddy since they couldn't find one in time. The song is great and the video turned out just as awesome.

Well, it's not a music Video...
But here is My Rockabilly Band, The Blue Ribon Bastards, New CD Cover Artwork! Artwork was done by Clint Keidel.
And the Monster Hot Rod Logo we did a T-shirt run of was Drawn by Andy Kohler (Thunderbirdesq).
Some of you might appreciate it!

I'll see what Cool Music Videos I can dig up...Great Thread!

No sir. I cut em off a couple years ago :D

    No worries. Thanks though :D

    I've heard that before..thanks man!:D

It's been a long time but I spent every hour of every day for three years crammed in a van with these dudes. They were literally my brothers. We had major label fallout that destroyed the band. It was a hell of an experience though and I saw shit that I could never explain seriously to people. Good times! I spent most of my time surfin the hamb when I could though. It ain't rockabilly or surf music or whatever but it was what it was. It doesn't mean I don't like all that shit. We were changing direction and the unreleased album was really raw and less metal, more rock sounding. Wish it could've kept going.

After a show we played with Motorhead we all went to a bar and Lemmy and I shared a bottle of Johnny Walker. He told me I was a brilliant bass player. So pretty much after that I was all good.

You can make fun if you want, but I was like 20.

He's a HAMB lurker and third generation hot rodder:D

From their style, I was expecting screamo, but goddamn they are heavy!

Dreddybear, Looks like you had a lot of fun with your band! Not bad either!

stubbsrodandcustom and cali4niacruiser, thanks a lot. I'm super proud of that kid...and he has opened my 40 year old eyes so I can appreciate more modern music.

Now we just gotta get some hot rods in their next video!

    That's a pretty specific list.

You should check out Chuck Berry. He's right up your alley and pretty awesome. You'll also like this artist named BB King. Also Check out a dude named Buddy Guy. And if you really want to blow your mind, check out Fats Domino.
