You may be correct. Pretty hard to find a picture of the rear of a '31 without the accessory trunk although I'm sure we all like the accessory trunk in the original picture. :)

On further research, I don't think it's any earlier then 1933. Note the similar rear window and curve in the back of the body on this 1933 Cad V-16.

Quick question: How does a person post a photo on here "full size" as opposed to the "thumbnails" I keep posting? I don't see anywhere you can designate to be full size.

What identifies it as a '32?

It certainly could be. But all the pictures I can find of the 31 and 32 have sort of a broken line before that rear slope starts. The '33 shown above looks more like the picture without the broken line. Given that, I am leaning toward the '33. I could be wrong.

  10. Mostly bumper and body lines to me. Also the rear window frame shape. I suppose it could be a 1931 or a 1932. The '33 bumpers are different.

  11. Not only is it a 56 Crown Victoria, but to me it looks like a Glasstop, or Skyliner. Very rare, only about 600 were ever made in 1956. I once owned a 55 Glasstop, hotter than hades riding in it in the summer.

  13. Looks like a recently built rat rod to me instead of a vintage shot.

The Durant was made in NYC and the company was insolvent by 1931. You are thinking of the "Kline Kar." It was made in Richmond from 1912-1923 and a restored example is on display at the Virginia Historical Society. The original factory is across the Boulevard from that cinema. The cinema was a huge storage warehouse. Wiki says the cars were entered in races. Maybe (?) that's why there used to be a race track behind the plant in Scott's Addition.

The proud new owners of a 1957 Thunderbird JR pose with their car.
Thelma and Louise the early years?? Or is the passenger a boy?

Look closer---Front one is a Ranchero---Behind it is another cars roof line.
