I'm like a proud Papa...I recently purchased this 59 Ranchero For 2500 Bucks. Wasn't really lookin for another old car, I was lookin for a late 70's early 80's chevy pickup to use as a driver. When this showed up in the local paper.. I couldn't pass it up.

It has 351W with A/C and runs like a top. The old guy I bought from had it since 98 and only put 250 miles on it and installed the A/C with factory underdash unit.Still needs some tinkerin here and there. I'm stoked any how.

This weekend My brother (58Villager) and I gave it some new wheels and tire and a new stance (one and half coils in front 2"block in the rear).

    Here are some pics.

The day I got it [IMG]

    Thanks
The 76 LTD wagon was the closest thing to an old car I could find in within my budget in college, some headaches but good car overall. It will be for sale soon.

yeah...nice lookin' ride. I was looking at something similar but the price was too high. Sounds like you got it for a song. Enjoy it.

Oh that's a great deal dude. The 351w is a nice, smooth motor that you can do something with if you want, and with A/C no less. It would be nice to get to work without bein' drenched in sweat. LOL

Nice stance too. And that the best deal I've heard in a while on ready-to-go driver.

    Have fun,

    Big Daddy Eric

RANCHERO12JAN13 (2) - Copy.JPG I ve'bought a 59 Ranchero from the US, as a everyday driver. I had to redo the interior, new tyres and 2 1/2" lower all round (new lower ZF fairlane coils and 65mm block.) getting close to done just waiting on seat & door trim from US.

Glad to see the wheel/tire change. I sure wouldn't mind those rallys/white letters on my 10+ year Ranchero I plan on using daily some.

I wish my 59 looked that nice. I love my old Ranchero. I beat the crap out of it using it for my daily driver for about ten years. It's time to get some stuff done to it and get it back on the road.
