Yep your right I didn't remember Crites... I just remember a business card fiberglassed in the undersides of the hood and deck lid saying Lightning Fiberglass, somewhere in Ohio. The stuff seemed to be good quality.
Crites hood for 65, slightly modified.. Engine sat too high for their stock teardrop hood and we had clearance issues, but just couldn't see this car with a snorkel or otherwise. Although Crites stopped selling the scoops separately (I guess too many were improperly installed and flew off going down the track...) their customer service was very accomodating in selling us another scoop to get it sorted out..so we could keep a teardrop on the Ford!
