  7. I was hoping this thread would take off. Maybe with this bump it will materialize.

  8. Kinda fizzled. My home computer broke, I'm typing from my phone and can't contribute.

It's the best idea I heard today! I have some ACAD files I would contribute...

  12. Does anyone do custom cad drawing? I need the bellhousing pattern for a BMW.V12
want to make an adaptor to a turbo 400.I will pay for there services

  13. I can do a CAD drawing for you, but I'd need a sketch with good dimensions, or a part I could measure.

I know I am going to catch hell for this statement, But the reason you are not seeing 30 guys post Cad drawings or other patterns of parts, brackets etc here Is...They spent alot of time and hard work to make the product. And Some of them make their living doing this. Only to have others copy their hard work and claim it as their own. Design your own stuff or buy what is on the market.....just my 2 cents

Wow, I thought this thread was about a month or two old. Seven MONTHS LATER....

Anywho, what happened? I'll draw some good stuff up for rear end brackets and such when my chassis is finished next week. Need a break.

In case someone wants to build hedders for the Olds Rocket engine, I made these Head-flanges a long time ago.

VON RIGG FINK.... Thanks Randy for the wood info. Downloaded and saved!

    See guys? THIS THREAD WORKS!

I could add some electrical circuits, but don't know how to do that, other than draw it on paper and photograph them!

  21. Just a thought on a VERY good idea.
They make cheapo scanners now ($29.95 IIRC) that will convert any paper drawing to jpeg or PDF. Kinko's and other print shops often have copiers that will scan and save to a flash drive as well.

Be sure to dimension everything. As I have found out in the past, scanned images often do not print out with the actual shape of the original, even if you get the size right. This cost me about a week on getting a fuel cell built a few years back.

The only way I would trust a printed image as a template is if it was done straight out of a CAD program on a plotter.

  23. Has anyone got a pattern (or wants to make one) of all the original holes that are in the chassis rails on a 1932 Ford. I've seen a thread with some measurements and hole sizes but a pattern would be great. Thanks in advance !!!!
