Thanx for posting your pix. Nice mix, some unusual and cool things. I especially liked the old racers and the trailer with the camel-humped rails. Do you know if the trailer is a reproduction or a vintage survivor? Is Cinci the first indoor show of the year? Gary
i dont know anything about the trailer joshua shaw on here may know something about it i think its his dads yeah this is really the first and only indoor show in cincy they have a few in dayton (@50 miles away) there is a indoor show in dayton at the end of march
I hung around that chop shop for three days......survivors alley was the best section of the whole place.....plus it had the pinup contestants. Got Winfields autograph and a pic with him. Really is a nice gentleman. Had a good time but the food and drinks were expensive to say the least.
The Ramp trailer is an original. They were very popular in the 20's and 30's but not many survived. I've seen less than 5 ever in real life. They work great and are easier to load than you'd think. This paticular one belongs to ZAKIRA'S, the Indy car restration shop I work with. When the JIM ROBBINS Indy roadster was found back in the 90's, it was on this trailer.. The roadster got restored, and the trailer discarded.. ZAKIRA'S had the sense to grab it! Great pics! Thanks. J Shaw
