Go to P15-D24 ( the model numbers of 46-early 49 Plymouths and Dodges) and check the information there. If you like you can register for the forum, and become a participent of one of the most active discussion lists for these and other Mopar flathead 6 powered cars.

ONE IMPORTANT note on you Dodge. When the engine is off, there is no mechaical connection between the engine and the transmission due to the fluid drive coupling.

Make sure you have a properly working parkig brake or make sure you chock the tires, wouldn't want you new ride to visit the down hill neighbors of it own accord.

If you register for the forum, please list me i the refferal section. There is only one moderator webmaster, so you may not get posting approval for 48 hours, but you can access the forum to search and read. enjoy you Dodge.

  11. Super nice looking Dodge ya got there. Really like the color.
Like Plym46 said....you might come visit the P15-D24 forum as
it generally has more stock type vehicles with original type
engines. However, there are some modified cars there as well
with V8s, automatics, etc. A very knowledgeable and friendly
group. I enjoy the HAMB and come here pretty often, but have
gotten a lot of my info over there. Bob
