thanks... got it back from paint, put it in the garage, slapped a cover on it, haven't touched it since... kinda sad

need to paint/install dash, rebuild carb, and get a windshield, then I'll get her out of hiding... lol

lol... 12 gallon tank in the trunk, york 210 EDC for my compressor... needs a lot to get that big ass off the ground... it'll lay frame flat (I know, some people here HATE that... it's not their car)

ok, I know this thread has been slow going, but... I'm ordering the carpet this weekend... it's down to these choices. I'm most likely going with the 80/20 loop in either -

    black
    [IMG]

    charcoal
    [IMG]

    midnight blue
    [IMG]

    or

    dark blue
    [IMG]

I know most on here don't care, but... I appreciate your opinions... you guys have more experience with most of this crap and I'd like to pick something that flows and sort of ties the outside color in with the interior, w/out being bright ass blue (i'm colorblind as well, so I can't tell them apart)... lol

Well, the 80/20 is most like what came in old cars.100% nylon is a little more durable, but looks more like a level field.Cut pile is a plusher look.I've sold and installed thousands of yards of carpets in my career.Good luck Jack

I like that idea... I was thinking about doing a two-tone similar to this one, but there's just something I don't like about it

  22. I say midnight blue for the carpet would look great. Black would look boring. Just my .02

Great project and I know it's a pain in the butt... keep it up.. they really knock 'em dead at the drive through when you're in a '62
