I had my Model A Coupe Project and a daily driver '87 Camaro RS

  2. A 64 Chevelle. It wasn't mine but was my old mans. He let me drive it all the time to school. That car was clean as hell. All original, had a 283 and a set of chevy rally wheels. I felt like a boss pulling in the parking lot. I would always park next to a guy that drove a Dodge Dart. Those we're the only two classics in the parking lot. This was around 2000.

White 1964 Olds Cutlass 2 door hardtop with red bucket seat interior and 4 speed. I've owned hundreds of cars and it's the only one I wish I had back. It's been 40 years and I still have dreams at night that I find it. I traded it in for a 70 Chevelle SS in 1972, probably the sorriest pos I ever owned.

In my 12th year of school I had bought a 41 Super Deluxe from my Dad. It was his daily driver.I paid him $100.00.I then commmenced to change it to my liking. It was black. He bought another just like it.I actually drove his at times because mine was down while I was replacing the trany because of a bad shift, or when I was installing a dropped axel.It was my first car of many.:D

Year is 1966. I was 17. I couldn't aford a muscle car I wanted so I purchased a partialy done 1931 ford roadster. Finished it with a 430 Merc. Lincoln trans. with zepher gears. Picture was taken at a friends house when I was helping him change the 352 in his 63 galaxie 500. You can see the tripod hoist in the background. Seems like yesterday! [IMG]

  19. Class of 64.

Started with a 31 A model original car with stock banger. Next came a 57 Chevy post. Three speed on the tree. Added a Hurst shifter and 3x2s. Stock cam so it never ran up to potential. Silly kid....

Alas, I let both get away...

  20. Not me....all the cool guys had 55-57 chevys and I drove a red and white 56 olds rag top..
Oh yeah, it'd be cool now but it was nothing but a big ol' GM "boat" back then...even with it's new paint and interior and 245 HP engine.
On graduation I got a 55 ford tudor sedan.Much better on gas but hell on oil.

Class of 1955. I had a `48 Plymouth two door sedan with a split manifold. More bark than bite! I had owned several old Fords prior to the Plymouth.

This was my 1958 Impala back in High School. It was definately a cool car and had a lot a fun in it. It ran a respectable 15.97 at the dragstrip too! Dig those California Astro Reverse wheels!

1963 Chevy Biscayne 2 door post, 6 cylinder, Powerglide that I paid the huge sum of $100 for which is all I could afford at the time working part time in the local gas station on Woodward Avenue and 14 Mile Road in 1970. Damn those were good times....

50 Merc 2 door sedan for the 11th grade then a 57 Chevy wagon body I payed 25 bucks for and I rebuilt a 30 over 265 four barrel, 357 injection cam, chevy dealer was out of 098's, and a 3 speed on the floor. Not much money so I got a cheep set of used cheater slicks for the back..... fun driving in the winter in Ohio. Loved that wagon.
