I really like the not chopped but channeled or Zed Model A Coupes Would like to see how many Hot Rods were not cut and see old school look Changes are being made as we speek New wheels Tires Grill Louvers Rake in the back ETC.. I am picking it up tomorrow

Channeled with an 1 1/2" chop to make it look stock because with the removable hardtop there isn't any upper door molding and it looked taller...
I hope this isn't stealing the thread but I've always wanted to ask this question. In the old magazines you seem to see more chopped coupes from the west coast rather then the midwest or east coast. Do you think the dry lakes competitions influenced this or just the availability of more body shops that could perform this task ? I like the look of old modifieds and super mods and like the unchopped and channeled look.
I remember the east coast Hot Rods to be channeled West Coast had the influence of Bonneville I think ?
I have a channeled and zeed duce roadster that I replaced the steel body with a Westcott fiberglass one. When I ordered it, I gave him the dimentions for the floor and for only about $200, (1990) he did a perfect job and it fit like a glove.
