  1. Who told ya that, certainly not someone that was there! I sure as hell never saw any "pale" any color. They were all factory color or red. That's traditional!

More red wheels. I think they look pretty good on a black car.

All the haters drinkin the hateraide... shouldn't it be about whatever turns yur crank? If everyone did their cars up the exact same way they might as well go to the dealership and order the same cookie cutter car as everyone else. Just my two cents worth...

<-- Here's mine, red wheels and all. If you like it cool, if you don't that's cool too. It don't confront me cause I like it and since it's mine and it's paid for that's all that matters to me. Okay that was four cents worth.

    But YOU opened it!

I originally opened this just to see how many guys have nothing better to do than bitch about red wheels. I was surprised to see as much support for the OP as there is.
Then another guy suggested, "just put wide whites on it and forget about it".
Aren't wide whites "the new red wheels"

Got a pic before with the original white and after showing red with caps.
I wouldn't have done red wheels if the trim didn't have the red.
Saying red wheels is played out goes with saying louvers on a hood are unoriginal too.
Its a symbol of what we call hot rods.

Can you tell the name of the green on the five window in post #139?

It kinda/sorta looks like the green oin the new Fiat 500's but a little richer and darker. Anyone know a name?

I know the red wheel has been played out. I would think about it but on the right car sure. My last 2 cars wheels were orange, and burnt copper. Exceptions when running a full size hubcap and wide white tire I think the red ring of the wheel really sets it off.
