Hey guys, my name is Logan and i just recently turned 17. Unlike most kids my age i dont own a xbox haha. I have had a few old trucks 57' f100 and a 60' f100 which i traded for a 82 Silverado (i know but the f1s where far from completion and i didnt have a job)which i just recently sold the 4x4 and a pos honda civic to buy my dream car... a 1965 Nova ss. Its a true ss with the posi 12 bolt a muncie 4 speed and a 307 stroker(hate on the engine but its a good runner and low mile rebuild) The only problem was that the interior is really rough, and the biggest problem of all... the p.o. went to tub the car and cut out the entire pass rear wheel wheel and tossed it. At the time my heart was set on this beauty so in my head i thought what the heck i can weld haha. The tough part was finding a fender luckily i found one, seemed like i found the only one for sale period! but now that i had it i trimmed to fit and tacked it in and ran out of welding gas haha. The car also has a full frame under it which they did do a good job on. I also had a 72' c10 long bed like everyone else in the world does, i traded it to my dad for a fresh never ran 355. The 307 has 1.94 1.50 heads, a mild cam, 350 crank, flat top pistons, edelbrock performer and new edelbrock 1406 600cfm carb, fenderwell headers and a dress up kit your typical run of the mill small block. Back to the forum, i have been creeping on here for a long time haha. You guys are the most knowledgable and best hot rodders around ive learned so much from the threads on here its amazing! Ill try to get some pics of her up soon!!!
Welcome from Wa State. Don't worry about the haters. Build what you want the way you want it. Go ahead and piss em off. Works for me.
