"you guys are mean...my friend's gonna do the painting and he's a professional". Love that quite. But seriously...SO do it...get tired of it in 6 months when you see posers with cars NOT decent like yours overdoing it...then change it & try different caps + wheel color.
Easy way to change the look of that 1952 Chevy. Since the car looks done otherwise. Why ask for advice? Not a big undertaking it's hard to redo later.

Oh! But if you put skulls OR LOTS of Iron Crosses...you're golden! Remember teh Scheider Cams logo? Now every fake "chopper" builder shirt they sell at JC Penney has a rip off of that cross logo as their logo.

Here's my red wheels. Come on.......are they that bad? They came with the new Coker tires that I bought from my Dad. Sh!t, 5 powdercoated rims and 5 Coker classic radials with ribbed trim rings and spider caps for the price of 3 of the tires. Priceless! Well....not really, but a hell of a deal.

Weren't red wheels an easy way "back then" to make your car stand out... tradition has to be worth something ...Is it because there are so many the some here hates 'em? Some people don't like the Beatles either, or Santa Claus, or Farrah's poster go figure...

 

I like my wheels and don't give a sh*t about anybody's opinion. Hot Rodding is a personal trip, so go down the road you want.....

Here's mine... with a bright red interior it's pretty hard to say anything BUT red wheels would look as good IMO. I have toyed with the idea of painting them creme, but that's become about as cliche as red IMO.
