Love the Hudson! Very cool. I wanted one of those but found a deal I just couldn't pass up. How is the 308 and are you going to keep it?

the wasp is a 262 and it is frozen. but a have a wasp 4doors parts car with a good engine and also a 4 doors hornet with a 308 that I get running and driving last year! But the wasp is a keeper.

    this is the hornet:

question who knows what this is: (a extra lubrication system?)

Welcome to the group; glad to see another Hudson here. I think the widget in the photo is an aftermarket "top end" lubricator. It injected oil into the intake supposedly to lube the valves. The oil used was something like Marvel Mystery Oil.

H145 referred to the horsepower 145hp, with 7.2 to 1 compression ratio with Miracle-Dome aluminum head.
This is with the Dual Down Draft Carburetor, Twin H Power had not arrived yet.
As far as I the 262 motor was fitted in the Super Wasp and the Wasp was a 232, of course the Hornet was a 308, maybe you could order the 262 as an option in the Wasp or the engine may have been swapped out at some time, others on here will know more than me.
