32 lower radiator outlets

I am doing a 32 with a 59A engine. My water pump inlets are a lot lower than the coresponding radiator outlets.

What have the experts done about that.

Someone sells lower hoses with a little zig in them just for that purpose. There were some on Ebay that I had in my watched file but I deleted them.

Found them Ebay # 221169800571 Sold but good for the photos to give you something to go by. Someone is either making them or guys are cutting a longer hose with the offset molded in to length. Looking at his add he sells them but doesn't have any listed at the moment. .

 

I have a pair of those but they are a bit long. They will line up but I need about another 1/2 inch. (no wise cracks). I guess I can cut a 1/4 of each end of the trick offsets.

If you have 32 with a 59 A engine and using stock 32 engine mounts only requires the addition of a 1/4" spacer under the engine mount cushion and 49-53 lower hoses will line right up.

 

8BA lower radiator hoses work. Thats what I used.
