How did you finish the holes on that spark plug tube? That car is a work of art.

Or is this just a similar car? Chop looks heavier then the Blue Bird.

Similar, hatchet job on the top done by someone lost to history. I drove her to work today.
Bluebird still exists, she's just a typical unrecognizable street rod.

Are the openings on the wire tubes chain links, Cody?

So what are you gonna classify her as? I'd say custom.

You know nads I was thinking about this the other day , in some Aspects I think yah this is a custom , but then its so left field , an then I think that I've slightly changed so much stuff that some people are going to think its just a low wagon ,
So I'm still up in the air on that , it's not a mild custom , it's not a wild custom , I guess it's just a clean classy custom , ok I'm going to shut up I'm rambling on .....................lol

  19. Whatever you want to call it, its kick ass!

    Cody - nice pod setup.

Are you going to put a bottom plate on that so that it meets the bottom of the dash and closes the hole when the pods are up?
And how will the mechanism work? electric?

I would go with 'full custom' since you have changed just about every little thing on that car. Are there any stock pieces left?

    Thanks guys
I might bit not sure yet as I plan on having it closed when it's parked , im going to make it a mechanical mechanism , a lot let to go wrong , I'm basing it after a cowl vet mechanism .
Yah there's lots , the talegate oh wait I shortened the tag area , the doors Oh wait I changed the handles , the quarters , roof , rockers , glass :D but it still looks so very stock to me

Cody, I love the pod setup. Could you hook it to a vacuum switch so it rises when you start the car and drops when you shut it off? I know theres an aftermarket deal like this for licence plates, just can't think of who.

Would love to see a short video on how you do this. Think that's possible?
