My first car was a '62 nova convert, Paid $35.00 bucks for it ,194 3 on the tree. A factory service manual came with it. Dad and I fixed it up for my high school car. Did a lot of dreaming about what it could become, but my finances at the time limited the mods to a set of corvair wire hubcaps and a walker continental glass pack. When I moved up the car food chain, dad drove it to work for a couple of years. Great little car! Indy

Thanks. I've always liked the small back window. Fun little street car. No where near as fast as yours, but it runs 10.5's on pump gas, through the exhaust on Protrac tires.
Watched your in cam video 1/2 dozen times last night. You make it look like a "Sunday Drive". :D

Wife's 64'. Factory laquar paint, interior, and motor. Just added 264 cam, Clifford aluminum intake with weber carb, header, offenhauser rocker cover. Still has the 13" wheels with bullet centers and lugs and very hard to find 13" rings. Getting ready to pull motor for motor bay painting, factory a/c installation I just came across and 700r tranny.\

Some glamor pics taken by a friend Sasha Matic, his work can be seen at:
    http://www.boulevardofghosts.com/

All shots were taken in a pitch black gravel parking lot with Sasha providing light in small quantities then later "layering up" the shots sometimes 18 deep to get these results

Good looking 65!Was it on RacingJunk when you had it for sale? Seems I remember seeing it online somewhere in the past.

    I miss a few Nova/ChevyII's I've sold too.

This pic was in around 1970, just before the unibody front end caved in from having to much torch work to fit in a Rat Motor. It was redone with a straight axle. The last Time I saw this car (years ago) it was behind a body shop on the south side of Indy..hidden in the weeds (wonder where it is now?)

Funny how these Chevy II's seem like "new cars" to me ,yet they are 50 years old,or close to it.
