My favorite car of 2012 is in Royalshifter's garage.

  2. This is a cool color...either it's dark purple with gold pearl or a brown:confused:
Anyways, the color and stance, along with being traditional looking, sure sets it with big thumbs up.

That coupe is beautiful for sure, but I've got a hard split between Malcom's Roadster and Jeffrey James' "the Wizard"> so much talent displayed here this year!

Chris' roadster is at the top of my list for cars built and driven this year. Very tasteful.

I LOVE that brown '32 five hole , but I am reasonably sure that it was not built this year.

Cory's roadster is just a jewel.
    It's got my vote.

BTW, Happy New Year to you all. I hope it's a good one for you.
    Cheers.

My vote goes to HomemadeHardtop57 for his 32 coupe, with all Edmond's Hemi
Built in record time and I can guarantee it will have the shit drove out of it
(I'm a wee little partial, because he built my roadster too)

More of Homemade Hardtop57's 32 coupe
I personally towsd this car home for him--it was an old hot rod--and was in pretty sad shape--Jerry did all the work himself (little help from friends) and it was all done at home---Pictures don't do it justice

Interesting manifold. Looks like a "single log"? I wonder if it was homemade?

The first thing i thought of when i saw that blue roadster was the Jimmy Khoughaz roadster but a newer street rod version of it.

I'd have to go with Cory's 32 roadster as well. Mean, simple and just plain badass for a cross country road trip.

This is like lookin at a calendar of beautiful nearly neekid wimmin. Just can't chose one.
Each rod or custom is beautiful and bitchin in it's own way. Just the way it should be.

  16. There are so many to choose from but I think I have to go with Andy 's (Tbirdesque) coupe conversion. That guy did a shit-ton of work in a veeeerrrrry short time and drove out to Bonneville from New York? Unbelievable.

Vintage Hammers 34 was road hard and hung out to dry...needed some TLC
    Chrome all brand new
    Engine detailed
    Body lined up
    A few interior mods
Still a driver but got most of what this Tudor deserved.

I like them all but if I had to select one that I would like to own being 72 years old it would be Henry's deuce sedan.

  21. Jason of Jason Graham Hot Rods in Portland Tn. Built that little Coupe for Larry Tucker...Sweet little ride.I am partial to Malcolm's little Roadster and I am sure whe he put the finishing touches on it that he will still drive the cap out of it.

My favorite of '12 is the same as yours Ryan. I looked this car over at Goodguys Indy. Reminds me of a modern day Jim Khougaz roadster. Perfect!

Yes, hell of a nice car. It was (mostly) built some time ago, but one car (of several) that I saw pics of for the first time this year that really grabbed my attention was Kelly Browns T in TRJ #56.

Roy Brizio Street Rods builds jewels that ARE driven. (His own deuece is twenty some years old) I'm sure in fifteen years Tom's car will have plenty of miles and the injection and serpentine system will work just fine.

  29. Any one of these cars would make a great choice but there is just something about that blue deuce that says HOTROD! Brizo has a build thread on it and it is just an amazing piece. Congratulations to everyone who finished their cars in 2012 and bring on 2013!
The deuce in my avater is undergoing a transformation as we speak. Straight axle, drilled radius rods, new paint and a serious lowering job. Good bye street rod and hello hot rod. Happy New year to all.

Bass' Roadster, just a good ol' hot rod roadster built with great quality and craftsmanship, AND a driver.

In another direction: Silver City Special and Chris' 34. I love the early hot rod. They nailed it IMHO.

Can't wait to see what '13 will bring!
