Add any of your respected buddies names to the list.Since we are headed into a new year, it has occurred to me, that particularly during 2012 we have lost a good number of our fellow hot rod buddies, heroes and friends.

Some prominent and others just like myself, low profile but still just as keen and committed.

Who ever they are or were, they have all experienced a special journey in hot rodding not so dissimilar to most of ours.

I feel that it would be appropriate to honour each and everyone of these dedicated hot rodders and showing recognition to their commitment and contribution by naming them in this one dedicated thread.

Some will for the first time will have their name mentioned here on the HAMB while others will have been mentioned time and time again.

Let this include folks from all corners of this wide world, since our hot rod brethren can be found in numerous countries including America, Australia, UK, New Zealand, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and any others I have missed which I apologise for leaving out.

I am sure we are all the better for knowing them.

May I offer the name of Norm Grabowski 1933 - 2012 USA.

Please in recognition post below and my they all RIP.

Chris Klink, Owner of Ultra Tech Race cars, one of the founders of the renegade race class (assoc) at Thompson. He built chassis and engines and trannys. Did alot of Street Rod stuff. Front engine dragster, and gasser work. He is missed.

Once in a while in this life, we are lucky enough to become friends with a genuine good guy. Chris was that for so many.
