Great stuff! I recognize a few by both style and name. Some of the best and most talented model builders.

Some of mine from this year.. The merc is the snap together cop car, the semi is a truck that I stretched to a double bunk and highly detailed, has all lines under cab, it has won many awards this year. The black 32 was built for a friend on here "morust" it is suppose to look like his 32 3-window, I robbed parts from about 6 kits to build it and get everything right on it. Jim

This is the ford that was relased this year, I went to work on it and did some detailing on it, I spent about a month on it in the evenings. I am sorry the pics are not better as the kit is really nice in person. Jim

THis is a diorama I have been working on, actually this has been a project that has been going for about 3 years now, it is in 1/16 scale, using the minicraft kits, the roadster and the pickup are the only kit items everything else other than the gas pup is completely scratch built by me, this is about 3' square and it still along way from being done but I will get it finished some day. 12. Fantastic stuff guys. man some amazing models in that bunch, I love the professional cars. Those Pontiac ambulances are too cool. Soooo many other fantastic builds it's tough to find a bad one in the bunch.

I have to agre with Doc, I'd love to see a 1:1 Buick LeSabre pick-up. To build the
real thing would be very tough. The front sheet metal on Buick, Olds and Caddy won't
match up to a Chevy without a lot of work. Pontiacs, 1959s, from what a body man told me, bolts right on... So, do ya take an El Camino roof from the windshield back alone with
the bed innards and drop them into a wagon body? That would mean cutting coupe doors and jams into the body and patching the rear door openings or grafting Buick coupe quarters onto the El camino and slicing and dicing the front end of the Buick to fit...
Money, money, money.... But I'd still love to see someone do it!

    Still with me ??
Most of the above were built by myself or Graeme (FC51) and a couple of unknown builders that are in my collection of pics.

The model car hobby is alive and well, OK at least with the old crew. Great bunch of models to end the year. I'm starting to get my grand son ,7yrs.old in 3 wks, into building models. He started a 40 Ford coupe, but has no patience and a short attention span. His big love is playing Hockey. Happy New Year to All. Enjoy

  18. Thank You, to all the extremely talented people, that post on the "Model Car Sunday" threads, all through the year. You inspire so many of us here on the HAMB.

RoyalShifter,Yes it is Badass! It was originally built in the 60's by his father, who also worked at DST on the Ford Thunderbolt builds. The car has a real 289HiPo with webers. The Powerplant alone is worth way more than the entire car!
I only have a few more pics right now,Have more somewhere I can post up later.
    Regard's,Myron_

Damn Steve! I thought that green 49 was a real car as I was scrolling down!

There is way too many excellent builds out there this week to comment on each one other than to say they are all great, some fantastic talent out there.

    Doc.
