Hey guys I need a little help!! I'm building a 1932 Ford chassis and took it apart about 5 years ago and now putting it all back together. On the front wishbone radius ball is there 1 or 2 caps?? Model A's have two I can only find 1 that I took of the frame.Does this 1 and only cap just bolt to the frame? Any help would be great.

    Thanks,
    -Mike

Well, if you run a dropped axle they used to make spacers that can fit under the cap to keep the wishbones from hitting the frame rails. Thats all I can think of that might give you the impression theres two parts. JohnnyA

A dropped axle dosn't bring the wishbone closer to the frame. A model A crossmember in a 32 frame will bring it a little closer.

This is probably a spacer to clear the starter motor on early OHV swaps.

An original 32 Ford has only one cap.
