Any one on here build chassis Maybe a 32 ford Pinched for Model A Black Board Hot Rod looks good see below . Im not looking for Speedway or any big time chassis builder I think I could save some bucks getting it from a little guy busisness and I would like to see the companys just starting out tget the money http://www.blackboardhotrods.com/'32 frame pinched for model A.htm
I would like to know who the stamped rails are from. Pictures and price look good, but I would to see one in person.
Metal man here on the HAMB does an incredible job building frames and just about anything else you might need fabricated. He built the 32 frame for my 29 sedan and its perfect. Ron
A hamber 5 miles from me got one this spring. I was invited to go look, but haven't yet Supposed to be really nice, and this particular one was a custom stretch to the owners specs.
Black Board frames are nice. In the middle of an A on a 32 frame at work. They seem reasonable on price and are built to spec for your application
After I posted this I bought a 1930 Sedan on line pretty nice project very clean body ! it has a rolling frame under it . Its not a 32 but the body is channeled over it . Dosent look bad but I will have to see once I get it home to see what direction I will go .This one is going to be mostly a drag car. Dam I may have jumped the gun but these Black Board frames are very nice
Sounds like a nice project you will have. I have a 30 Tudor I am building full fendered. When I do a coupe, I would love to use one of these frames!
Gary Maxwell at Blackboard knows what he is doing. I have one of his pinched 32 frames under the 31 Model A coupe that I am building. It is really a very nice piece. I would get another one from him in a heartbeat. You won't beat his price and you can't criticize his workmanship. You will be happy.
Ive researched this quite a bit and I would buy from Gary Maxwell. Ive NEVER heard of anyone disappointed regarding his work. I am sure there are others as well.
That looks like a great deal. The price of rails and cross members is that much, plus its built in a jig. More likely to be square than being built on my garage floor! Sent from my DROID device using the TJJ mobile app
why didn't you say so. kevin at hot rod chassis and cycle in addison right by you builds chassis that will really hook up.
