Some lines that my friend Cory and just finished off this evening. He is a talented soul and I was glad to hang out with he and some other friends tonight just messing around. Me on the left and Cory on the right. Cory and I did the one I am holding together which was cool and the first time I ever tried to work off another persons art. Happy new Years everyone.

Happy New Year, Hambers!

 

I see this is rolling along already... Hope everyone had nice holiday. I've done nothing new I can show off... I can say that I got ingaged though, to the most amazing lady ever.. She paiants, she draws, she welds, shes smart.... and a hotty to boot heck, she even has her own roadster.... anyway, she is waaaay smarter than I am, and thinks i should really be pushing my design skills more than my T-shirt illustrations... and she is right. So, In lou of being able to post anything for my 2 big projects that will be out soon, here are some examples from the past...

So, instead of a bunch of random ideas for a bunch of different cars, here is a bunch for just one..This was my take on how to make a clients Tudor with a Cleveland cool a few years back.. I wanted it to have a vintage feel yet be something fresh.. Cobra inspiration is what I thought worked well with what he already had to work with (the motor)...

 

Great stuff again this week!

I was really inspired after receiving "the Jack Stewart Ford" book by Rik Hoving.
Problably the last one for 2012, white pencil on black paper..

Vintage Torque Fest Art Show Announcement
We are needing artists to help us make the art show even better than last year....
I know - last year was pretty amazing....
but if you could help us out we would really appreciate it.


Every year we have had to try to incorporate some idea that would have been outta the mind of Ed Roth.
First year we had the surfers helmets, 2nd year we had the Surfers crosses, and last year was the Rat Fink. This year, a classic surfboard - inspired from the Surfite.
These are 35 inches long and about 12 inches wide. Participating artists will be sent a blank white surfboard for you to do your magic on.
Here is an example of one of the Rat Finks last year:


In the past we have had some amazing talent help us out and we truly appreciate it.
All the proceeds from the auction go to Hannah Wells Medical Trust.
Last year we raised $12K - an amazing amount of $$$.
The premium for helath insurance for coverage for Hannah is over $18K a year - this does not include any doctors visits, hospital visits, medicine, etc.
We HAVE to keep the insurance because Hannah will have to undergo more open heart surgery in the next couple of years.
Thanks for everyone helping out in the past and hope that you will want to make a contribution to this year's event.
