47 Olds sheet metal.Takes up lots of space too.25 years ago I bought anything and everything for my Olds.Glad I did cause parts are really hard to find at swapmeets, even Hershey.
I also have lots of lame excuses why I dont get it back on the road!!!

I am having a shop clean out, kind of a new year fresh start thing and what surprised me is that I have fettishes for things I did not even realise.
Worst example being old license plates, man I have collected a few of these over the years.

In fact looking around my shop and working out what needed to be tidied up is what got me thinging about starting this thread.
A man sure can amass some stuff in a relatively small amount of time especially visiting swapmeets and local yard sales etc.

1958/1959 Chevrolet Levelair stuff! Been collecting it since the early 1970's when no one wanted it. If you have any Levelair parts for sale call me.

Any Flathead and desoto hemi speed parts are my main weakness. I usually try to buy stuff I need for the projects I have.

There was a time when I had 9 x model A four banger engines sitting around plus a heap of front and rear axles and related parts.
I too, am in recovery when it comes to such items now.

I need to get my addiction down to collecting LH threaded acorn nuts, chrome dash board screws or interior rear view mirrors, stuff that takes up only a small amount of space.

  19. Smallblock Mopar stuff, but I actually get to put most of it to use sooner or later.
Dozens of hubcaps and license plates seem to find their way onto the walls of my garage. It's not me with the fetish, it's my garage that has the problem.

  20. I've decided to make a new years resolution and I am going to haul all those Deuce parts I've accumulated over the past 20 years to the dump!,,yeah right!:D

I guess I'm a hoarder, collector waiting for that next project. HRP

I have old master cylinders. My first was costly so when I see a cheap one I pick it up.

So I have to wonder why you are plugging Nestler yet the
original post indicated these were of the caliber of Norman Rockwell?

  27. I have a bit of a collection of shifters. I like finding ones for non-common applications or ones that are fairly 'rare' today.
    Some of the highlights include:

    - Ansen Posi-Matic shifter for a Hydromatic transmission
    - Drag Fast shifter for a 50 Olds
    - Drag Fast shifter for 51 up Olds
    - Foxcraft shifter for 51 up Olds
    - Hurst shifter for 37-54 Cad/LaSalle side shift transmissions
    - Hurst Hydro/Gate shifter for a Hydromatic transmission

I keep saying that I'll sell some of them for parts money, but I know it's not going to happen. I always end up looking for more...
