beauty is in the eye of the beholder. if you are up for a BIG challenge go for it. or use it as yard art.

I would say it is worth fixing, mine had a tree fall on it too and I managed to repair it... yours got smashed more BUT is less rusty than mine started out as....GO FOR IT!!!!

ps.... mine was a similar story.... an auction with lots of A stuff and no one wanted the smashed rusty one, I paid $500.

  13. Middle photo....middle row...3rd (blue hot rod) and 7th(sedan with the swoopy back fenders) cars from the left...any more pix of them? interested in what make the sedan is and why you didnt try to buy that blue roadster....

  14. It probably sold over his $500 budget.

It's ugly, but it's just metal. I would replace the right side door just to give myself a straight frame of reference, and start from the bottom up, make sure the subrails are straight, find a body diagram and go over the left side. The worst damage in the right side is the top tin at the door gap, the rest is bowed but I don't see too many creases. If you're patient and can work tin or are willing to learn it should not be that bad to hammer out.

Took some time off from work, so started back on car I got this far and had a heart attack now I cant pick up anything over a gallan of milk, O yea they also had to do a double bypass on me so now all I can do is go look at the car and think, I decided to completly take the car apart and derust it then start back on the body, at least if I am thinking might come up with better ideas

You're on the right track. Find another door and whack the rest back into shape.
