  6. I have a drawer for S/W gauges, got one for trick interior lights, another one for Hurst shifter parts...
Use to collect American torque thrust wheels but they became too damned expensive.
Also collect Pontiac and SBC engines and high performance/speed parts. Have two storage units rented and garage is full ...it's a disease. Oh, and I own 5 different T-5 trannys and a saginaw 4 speed. Oh yes, and also #3300 and #3326 AFB carbs. Got 6 or 7 of 'em.

One of those T-5's with a 3.35 first gear ratio will work well with your chevy 302 engine...;)

Chrysler flat head six cylinder engines and/or parts. If I can hoard enough of them by the time everyone else figures out they are the engine of choice I will be RICH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe it is a fettish. I get a hard on every time I see one!

I've always collected parts I've needed for my cars. And parts I don't need for my cars. But my biggest problem is keeping used parts after I've sold cars.
Retiring and moving to Florida helped. I junked and gave away many things I had no use for. Like the grille horsie from my new 1965 Mustang, carburetors off my 49 Olds, old VW fuel pumps, Model T and Model A stuff from almost a 100 years ago. Well, a long time ago!
But something I can't explain was/is my picking up every old hubcap and license plate I've seen along ditches, flea, markets, and junk yards. Like a big mouthed Bass, those shiny things sucked me in! Now I've got 100 miscellaneous hubcaps and license plates just collecting dust.
I'd stop along a 12 lane superhighway in a rainstorm to talk my wife into running a 1/2 mile back to pick up a bent hubcap.

Any old cars or parts that seem like a good value. Of course free is the best value. I'll drag home rusty crap thinking that maybe I'll find the other half someday and have a good whole one. I really have a thing for engines though, anything out of the ordinary.
I have this anxiety that when I find it at a decent price I gotta have it cause I might not find another I can afford. Even if its something I don't need.

I have a really hard time sticking stickers on things. I love to collect 'em though.

I'm also pretty gay for blinged out OT carbon fiber parts. Especially race cars or airplane parts.

  19. Not HAMB friendly, but since you asked: I collect RX7 FD stuff. Bits of trim, electrical things, solenoids, rotors, anything I can get cheap for my petrol slurping rotary.

I didn't have any specific things before but this thread has given me some ideas of things to collect. I'm not saying what though, I wouldn't want to drive up the competition level haha..

Intakes and superchargers. To me, the induction is the focal point of a hot rod.

    56 chevy hubcaps...

Every swap meet I go to I bring the lot with me to try to sell them.
...I always come home with at least another one as hard as I try not to.

and a bunch of old fishbowl filters.
