Bonneville Avanti Dan..... I READ this entire thread and kept up with all of the posts people have made...... yours is the "greatest gift of all".....

So often we get so tied up & distracted by so many other things we completely forget how precious each breath we take "is a gift" ..... and every breath, from the 1st one we take until the last one we make is "gift from God".

Dan... even though we have never met NOR have I ever even read any of your previous posts your "good news" has lifted my "Christmas spirit".

Now get out in that garage & get to work with a BIG SMILE on your face!!!!

WoW!!!! Such a touching post..... gave me "goose bumps" thinking about it. Little things like that "letter to Santa" are special things that come from the heart..... you are "blessed".

My kids went together and shocked the living tar out of me with a Canon EOS Rebel T3i camera and kit. I think they both expect sunrise or sunset photos next year.
That will come in real handy at the car shows in the future too. And leave money in the kitty for car parts as I was looking at getting a better camera in the next few months.
My son and his girlfriend fixed Christmas dinner.

My wife got me a R&C mag subscription, some hotrod t-shirts, but my mom really killed it with the Jalopy Journal print version book (I'm trying not to read it all in one day) the calipers pads and rotors for my disc conversion, and a set of aerostar springs. My brother gave me his usual 5gal bucket of supplies (duct/ecectrical tape, PB blaster, degreaser, drill bits, nut/screw bits, JB weld, etc.). And I got some money for the wiring harness I'm gonna build. My dad got me 250.00 worth of gift cert. to Mid-Ohio race track so I can but tickets to vintage road races, bike races, and some other good stuff!

Best gift of all was the day with the whole family drinking and eating!

Wife got me a mig welder. Wasn't a brand new one but one I kept borrowing from a pal. She told him that since I used it more than him he should just sell it to her. Good wife!
